Memory section is at 14/16, warzone is using 6GB RAM. In Task Manager details, there’s a process named “system idle process” consuming half the RAM and most of the CPU. I ran Malwarebytes, detected 14 malware files and cleared them, but the issue persists. I’m stuck and can’t resolve it. Here’s a screenshot.
Check the other image to see the chart that displays the CPU usage staying at 100% most of the time. The game runs at 60%, while another process (idle system task) accounts for the remaining 40%, using 8GB of RAM.
You're correct, this process is consuming a lot of resources. It's frustrating when nothing seems to work despite your efforts. The screenshot you mentioned shows the issue clearly—once you close Warzone, CPU usage drops back down. Keep an eye on Task Manager for any lingering activity.
So the single bench looks very similar, yet the overall rating drops by about 10%. Power consumption stays within 75 to 85 watts, and temperatures remain between 65 and 75°C under heavy use.
I don't understand at all, are you certain nothing is running in the background?
an I510400f Hikvision 16GB 2666Hz CL16 (2 sticks), paired with an MSI 6600XT 500GB NVMe Biostar H510 motherboard. For a couple of days everything worked smoothly in Warzone, achieving around 120 FPS at low settings, smooth frame rates, GPU usage between 95-100%, and CPU around 65-80%. Now I'm unsure what caused the change. In Warzone, FPS dropped to about 100 with noticeable frame drops to 70. GPU usage stayed under 80% while CPU hovered near 100%. When I quit the game, both CPU and GPU usage returned to 2-3%. This issue also appeared in a similar situation (BF1). The screenshot shows Warzone at maximum settings, resolution upscaled to 1440p. I did this intentionally to prevent CPU bottlenecks, but I play at 1080p with low settings. I've tried: running UTX 2.0 without any problems and no thermal throttling, closing background apps, using Malwarebytes to scan for 14 TorrentJar files and quarantine them—but nothing changed.
Malwarebytes detected 14 trojans and other malicious software. If I were you, I’d probably save some raw data and then reset your PC, since it’s infected. Avoid risky websites and downloads—stay safe. You might want to run Cinebench R23 and see how your scores stack up against your CPU specs? If you’re underperforming, there could be background processes interfering.
