Hi, I recently purchased a brand new PC: an I510400f 16GB 2666MHz CL16 (2 sticks), MSI 6600XT 500GB NVMe Biostar H510 motherboard. Two days ago everything worked fine in Warzone, achieving around 120 FPS at low settings with smooth performance. The GPU was consistently at 95-100% and CPU around 65-80%. Recently, I noticed changes: in Warzone FPS dropped to about 100 with significant drops to 70. GPU usage stayed under 80%, but CPU usage climbed to around 100%. I tried Elden Ring too, experiencing similar issues—FPS fell to 70 while GPU usage reached 75% and CPU was at 50%. A screenshot from Warzone is attached.

Could be due to the poor VRM in your BIOS motherboard

How to verify? I tested cinebnch r20 with a power consumption of 75-78 watts, single core rating of 423, and observed a peak draw of 17 watts.

Check the Cinebench R20 section on cpu-monkey.com. It seems your CPU might be throttling performance. Why would you choose a H510 when you have a Core i5 available?

Windows is running in the background. Usage at 40% appears high.

Check the Intel XTU download to confirm the cause of throttling. Generally, the H510 performs poorly, and Biostar components are unreliable, suggesting the issue lies with the board itself.

The system runs at 50% load yet the overall percentage nears 100%. Task manager reports minimal usage around 4%, but memory usage is much higher, showing 90% even though Warzone uses only 8.5GB. Task manager lists 16GB allocated. How can this be?

In the image you shared, the overall score stands at 61%, not 100. When it reaches 100%, what elements are missing? Additionally, your RAM is fully utilized, which may lead to frequent swaps and performance issues.
