They're just rebranded versions of the i5 7600K, with only slight updates from Coffee Lake. Nothing special here.

The locked and unlocked CPUs are identical in hardware, only differing in microcode adjustments. Intel developed this approach because the additional cost is minimal, and some individuals remain deceived.
