I disliked it right away after using it. After more than a year with my Nexus 7 2013, I thought a factory reset could help. In fact, Lollipop felt much better and faster once I reset my tablet compared to the official update via KitKat. TL;DR: if you notice slowness or bugs, a factory reset might fix it.

Lollipop runs very slowly on my Nexus 7 from 2012, and honestly, I don’t use it much—it’s in bad shape.

The assurances about battery endurance were what excited me the most. Performance-wise, it truly exceeds expectations.

Consider enabling root access on your N7 and setting up an F2FS firmware. This filesystem is designed for flash storage, offering significantly better performance.

I'll look into it tomorrow (actually today) as soon as I wake up.
