When playing competitive online games, it's tough to relax and often makes simple errors. Sometimes I feel unsteady, miss shots easily, and struggle to stay focused. It’s hard to get into the right mindset. Any useful advice? - You might want to try a silly challenge in your first match, like using a pistol in an FPS game. That could help ease tension and give you a good warm-up.

Generally, focus on practicing a simulated game. Whether it's league or GWENT, a standard or ranked format works well.

Chat with your pals in a private voice chat and hone your skills like a competition. Practice callouts and manage your resources wisely.

I mostly focus on Absolver these days and occasionally try Overwatch or Titanfall 2. Thankfully, those games usually include a training map or let you play PvE. To compete, I spend about half an hour training regularly. Short challenges are always useful, so whenever you can, add some during your practice sessions.

Since I quit competitive CS, I haven’t played much. Before that, I’d try DMs, casual games, or aim maps.

Honestly, I spend around 600 hours just in casual because it’s way more enjoyable than competitive play. It feels a lot like CS1.6 with plenty of players on the map, lots of fun moments, and still some awesome highlights. People enjoy playing for themselves rather than just trying to win. I don’t really like the competitive meta much. The reason I stopped playing LoL is that the meta feels so rigid and rule-heavy—it’s hard to find anything funny anymore. Do something wrong and you’re quickly called out, roped in, and reported.

Sadly, my main game has switched to PUBG, making it hard for me to do non-PVP warm-ups.

In CS:GO I focus on DM and Casual games first, then move into competitive play. Usually I also check TF2 for about an hour or two, which seems to improve my aiming—maybe it's just a placebo effect as a Sniper.

I get ready by sipping coffee or tea, sometimes pairing them together.
