Just call yourself whatever you like, anyone can watch a YouTube tutorial. Watch out for the virus being introduced to your system—check everything before you download or click... it’s not rocket science.
It's not complicated at all, which is why so many Windows viruses exist and why antivirus protection matters. What does "download silently in the background" mean? It means you don’t even notice a link being clicked. The download happens without your awareness and then it sets up automatically. I identify myself however I choose, but I’m confident I understand security better than you do—because I test it (and I do this for amusement and learning). Don’t rely on me. I don’t ask you to. Please help others avoid the same confusion.
Kaspersky is also a solid option, I haven't heard much about it before. Just remember, common sense isn't enough—stay grounded.
