I recently upgraded my desktop and it has been performing excellently. Now I’m considering a laptop; since I work in security as a malware analyst, my main system already has around 64GB, which is more than sufficient. Usually I reach my limit at about 36GB while working, but on the go my laptop doesn’t handle much. I don’t want to switch between workstation mode and a laptop because I also stream, which is something I do regularly. I have a decent following and all that.

I was browsing online and found this laptop for just under $1000. It doesn’t come with the latest Intel processor, but it has the 13th generation, which according to what I’ve heard, still works well.

This is the model I’m evaluating right now.
It doesn’t look like there’s anything better for the price. It features an iPS panel, an i7 processor, 32GB RAM – something I really need – and an RTX 4060. It’s not overly flashy. If anyone knows of a superior option, let me know, but this seems to be the best fit for my requirements. RAM is particularly important to me.

Hey there,
This spec looks solid for the cost. You won't find anything comparable in lower prices. It's adequate. 32gb of RAM and a 1tb SSD, plus a decent mid-range GPU—definitely okay.

I grabbed it right before it went back up to $1200, which made it a decent deal. Thought I wouldn’t find anything better for the cost, so here’s the reassurance.

This appears to offer a better price for $100 more. It also includes a 3-year Best-Buy Extended Warranty, which I suggest you consider getting. The specifications are excellent, and the SSD performance is significantly stronger. You can even upgrade it to a 2TB model. Overall, it's a really solid deal.
