I purchased a new computer and upgraded my BIOS. After that, my CPU dropped to 2.8 GHz and never exceeded that speed. Someone can help me out, thank you very much!

You can reduce your BIOS settings...had similar problems with a 8700k and losing performance on a budget Gigabyte motherboard. The original BIOS was F13, giving me an R15 score of 1628. After upgrading to the latest BIOS F14.3, the best R15 score was 1549. Eventually I went down to F11...score improved to 1632, starting with the oldest BIOS and moving up. That means you expose yourself to possible security risks. If you're using a cheap router, it might be acceptable?
