I recently purchased my PC and came across a discussion about overclocking. I attempted to follow the instructions but made an error, saving something instead. Now my monitor won’t power on. Perform a CMOS reset by disconnecting the computer from power, removing the CMOS battery from the motherboard, and holding the power button for 10 to 30 seconds. Reinsert the battery and restore power. This will reinitialize all BIOS settings, returning them to factory defaults and undoing any overclock adjustments.
