This CPU operated smoothly at 5.2GHz and 50 ring ratio at 1.365V under heavy load in his PC. It performed flawlessly across every test—OCCT, realbench, numerous cinebenches, Blender, gaming. No errors, no stutter, no WHEAs appeared in the event viewer or hwinfo. This is my trusted friend; he wouldn't deceive me. I purchased an 8700K capable of reaching up to 5.4Ghz, later upgraded to a 7900X with four GPUs, including an 2080Ti unit I own now. He used a 5.2Ghz/50 ring 1.365V LLC3 setup with power limits disabled. Everything ran perfectly, while I struggled at 5.1Ghz and 1.42V in Cinebench.
Different board than his, currently Strix-A is the one—this is my third CPU in this setup.
Quiet Straight Power 850W Gold is a high-performance LED light designed for efficiency and brightness.
He’s from the same school district. Just double-check the PSU details.
He uses a Seasonic GX 850W. I think something might be off with my PSU, since the i9 10900K ran perfectly on default clocks and the overclocked 2080Ti was drawing 330W during games. The i7 also functions well at 4.7GHz, but problems begin when I attempt to overclock it.
You're experiencing some issues with your system. The memory tests look normal. Your PSU appears capable of handling 5.2GHz, though there seems to be a problem with the low V-core. It's possible the board is struggling with voltage drops, which could explain the hangs and errors. Unified Memory might be a better option for you, but I'm not sure unless you have one available. It's frustrating dealing with all this.
I've placed the order for Unify, but I don't have a second PSU available for testing.
