I just assembled a new computer and it started working fine for about two weeks until I encountered a blue screen with error code 0xc0000185. After reinstalling Windows, I wiped the drive, replaced the GPU and M.2 drives, but nothing resolved the issue. My motherboard has its VGA light, and the monitor goes black periodically every five minutes. I’ve watched many tutorials about this error, but they haven’t helped. Could anyone suggest a solution? I’m open to checking PC specifications: CPU i3–10100f, GPU 6700xt, 16GB DDR4 RAM, Z590 steel legend, M.2 1TB, Corsair PSU 650W.

Consider an alternative PCIe connection.

GPU issue? Your CPU doesn't have an integrated graphics card, making it tough to confirm the cause. Using an iGPU might help determine if the problem persists.

It doesn’t seem like a GPU issue since the problem appears only during power cycles and resets, not during normal operation.

It might just be my boots if I'm being honest.

The 650W weak heart is the issue, a solid 750W brand is better today. Consult Linus as well. I’ve used a Corsair 850W in a 2014 setup (crossfire failed, outdated), but the PSU is crucial—why compromise on that?

The PSU might be causing an issue because it is not delivering stable power or experiencing overheating, leading to system instability or failure.

Try an older version of the AMD driver. 1. Remove existing GPU drivers and software using AMD Cleanup Utility 2. Download a driver package from the previous driver page on the AMD website AMD Radeon™ RX 6700 XT Previous Drivers |
