I own a Sapphire Nitro card with an ARGB input. While adjusting the RGB settings, I switched the GPU connection without powering it down first. The lights stopped animating and only paused on a static color. After restarting, they didn’t turn back on. I’ve tried: restarting, shutting off the PSU overnight, removing the GPU and unplugging all cables while off, and using Sapphire’s Trixx software to modify RGB settings. I’m unsure what else to do.

You may have harmed the ARGB controller because it isn't included in the computer's chipset for the main graphics and processing units—it's just a basic IC. The positive side is you likely can fix it. If it doesn’t interfere with anything, it might be safe to leave it. Without other ARGB components, you should check if the GPU, main memory, or both are affected, which would help identify what needs replacing.

I've tested other gadgets in that specific header, and they function properly. Appreciate the response!
