I'm struggling to keep up with subbing for more than a couple or three months each year anymore...even though I put in constant intense grinding. Right now I'm really enjoying a solid push in the Arena and just returned to collect some rare weapon skins before they disappear. I've been playing this game since June and have earned some real achievements. How do you even become hooked again? I know it's a strange question, but I really miss it. Plus, I think I'm one of the few who still have both the Warrior Challenge Mode and the Paladin Season 16 Elite set—so I had to let those go. All my characters have tons of vanity items, but these are my top priorities. I just don't see a clear path forward.

Ask a family member to update your account password with something secure and unexpected. Remind them not to share the details for a set period. Consider joining a group of friends on an old private server from when you first began playing—those memories can boost your motivation. Alternatively, focus on collecting items and trading with new contacts in-game; people will appreciate your effort.

I'm feeling the same as you—wanting to jump back into the old days with vanilla but struggling to get into the game anymore. I've switched to private servers, though the latest announcements about vanilla servers have made me decide to stop there. Right now, I'm spending time grinding OSRS and might keep doing so until the classic version comes back.

You seemed to tackle the horde and alliance content, but keep an eye on MadSeason and stay patient for BFAs, even if they don’t look very exciting at first.

It's possible, I've witnessed similar situations in other titles.

I was near the end of WOD and Tier 19, ranking among the top 10 Warlocks in Mythic raids. I began in MOP and achieved most of my goals in WoW. The developers made changes that hurt the game because they didn’t understand its mechanics well and acted without foresight (if Ion Hozzi was removed and never hired again, things would improve). Games can quickly lose appeal; once you lose interest, you move on. Finding experiences like this is rare—only WOW itself stands out. If you don’t enjoy it, try other genres and see what you like.

Create three new profiles. Use a VPN to access more opportunities and earn significant income through sales. Avoid getting blocked on your primary account or join a professional league.

You're familiar with WoW since 2004, right? I returned three months ago after a five-year hiatus and had to admit, Legion gave me a level of fun I haven't felt in ages. Still, I unsubscribed because I think I've mastered the game now. We're both in the same situation.
