You were looking at this after a letdown with Dragon Age Inquisition, especially regarding its controls. It’s worth checking how it stacks up against other titles and whether it delivers the experience you’re seeking.
I believe they work well after adjusting a few keys. I experimented with playing using the XB360 controller but found KB+M more fitting for this game. The standard settings on KB+M are quite poor, so I suggest rebinding it. Feel free to share my control scheme if you’d like.
They're quite distinct experiences, making it tough to compare them directly... feel free to pick what excites you the most. Honestly, I prefer Witcher 3 over GTA V, though you won't earn much money with Witcher.
While battling, Geralt feels different from the rest of the characters. Exploring or riding Roach is unusual, and the camera keeps shifting constantly. This really frustrated me—I don’t mind the graphics being downgraded, but the movement feels clumsy and imprecise, like it’s an early access version. It’s disappointing because the game seems to be a great project despite my language issues.
I initially found the PC controls frustrating, but I eventually got used to them. Still, there are moments—particularly during sharp turns—where they seem very slow and annoying. This hasn’t affected my overall enjoyment of the game. I’d rather play with a controller, though, as that’s how it was meant to be played.
