I purchased a new CPU, but it doesn’t function after turning on the start button—no display appears even on the motherboard LEDs. Switching back to the old CPU resolves the issue. I’ve updated the BIOS, reset it, and tested other Ryzen 55600 models, but none show any activity. My motherboard is a ROG Strix B450 Gaming II with a Ryzen 55600 processor. I’m hoping someone can assist me.

Make sure you're using the correct BIOS setup. Identify the compatible BIOS for your latest CPU, update it, confirm the installation, then reinstall the new CPU, and it should start up properly.

Which BIOS version are you attempting to apply? It requires version 4801 or higher to support the R5 5600.
