These are voltage regulators, also known as VRMs. They once managed to control voltage. Or at least they used to.

Maybe there are no screws on the motherboard. O.o This looks weird—what exactly is it? If it could cause explosions, manufacturers clearly made a mistake. They shouldn’t share plugs with fans, right?
