It seems to be a solid LGA 775 motherboard, but it’s clearly nearing the end of its life. There’s no Core 2 Duo support, which makes it less practical today.

This situation is truly impressive and definitely worth keeping. The board you mentioned looks great, and I'm curious to see how it performs.

This setup is outdated because modern systems don’t support quad-core processors efficiently. The performance gains from such configurations are minimal today, and the software you’re using may not be optimized for them.

He is using the official ASUS CPU support page for the motherboard. https://www.asus.com/us/supportonly/P5WD2 Premium/HelpDesk_CPU/

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. I haven't owned every LGA 775 motherboard, so I can't confirm for sure. My original comment was based on what I saw online. Most sources indicated this board only works with Pentium 4s and similar processors, especially those using the 955X chipset. It's an older model.

It really feels strong and capable, with plenty of room for growth. I think it will last a long time.
