A lot of casual players. Gamers are now seen as a bunch of softies, "oh it's way too tough herpa derpa 0/10"
still all my friends believe IGN is the top spot for getting reviews...
When developers get paid, some reviews tend to appear later.
I’m not sure, but they do have some solid arguments. I don’t think Alien: Isolation was that incredible—I mean, the alien can’t even stick to walls, he just moves around the floor, the tension is more about suspense than fear, and I never really felt scared by it. It was annoying when humans attacked him a few times, but fighting them was okay. It was good, impressive, well-made, and nicely presented, though not mind-blowing. I’d give it 6 out of 10.
I share some of Shadowcaptain's views, though they seem to overdo the criticism. Horror is a tough genre, and only a handful of games managed to do it right. They acknowledged their work but leaned too heavily on the parts they disliked.
They rated Alien vs Predator 2010 a 7.0, which doesn’t match my opinion. The game really earned that score.
