Looking at the download page, I don't see any such mention of only working with Nvidia. I even see it state it works with any Nvidia or 'ATI Radeon' videocard. Whether that is just outdated info (since ATI has been acquired about 10 years ago at this point), or accurate info I don't know.. But I see some videos showing Rivatuner on 5500XT, so it should work.
