Your Samsung CJ791 monitor shows a split pattern—one side works while the other is completely black, creating a visible line. The graphics card is current, so the issue likely lies elsewhere.
Consider the connection points on the screen or graphics card. It could be faulty, so try using a different device to help identify the issue, then verify the ports.
I encountered the same problem before switching to a new Windows 11 version and upgraded hardware. It would disappear only after rebooting occasionally and would reappear randomly, particularly when my screens went to sleep. I tried identifying the culprit by closing processes one by one, but it wasn't consistent—often Nvidia's node.js processes or GoG Galaxy were involved, yet I still needed to restart. To check for software-related causes, does it occur in Safe mode as well?
The screen on my monitor was severely bent, but after repositioning it, everything appears to function properly. Thank you.
For anyone landing here from a Google search: Monitors with two inputs or more have a Picture in Picture mode that could cause a perfect split of the image between the two sources. It is a very common feature on ultrawide monitors and is often called PIP or PBP in the settings.
