I resolved an issue with a Ryzen 7 2700 that had two damaged pins.
I first checked if it would work without those two pins, but it wouldn't connect. I then tried connecting two pins from an old AMD CPU into the MB socket so they touched the CPU, but it still wouldn't post. It took some time to gather all the needed parts: a soldering station with flux and tin, 0.3mm copper wire, and an AM4 motherboard for testing. I followed the same instructions as in the video. Here are two pictures of the fixed pins.
I shared it just in a friend's home since I'm out of RAM. I also don't have the case. If you're interested, I can make a small update when I test it.
It would be useful to check performance with any pin selected. I expect minor voltage issues at best, but ideally the CPU would function normally.
