Hello. I recently completed a new computer build and immediately encountered an issue: no signal to my monitor after installing video drivers. My system specifications are as follows: Intel Core i9-9900k, MSI Z390 Gaming Edge AC motherboard, 4GB of RAM (running in dual-channel), Cooler Master ML360R case, Corsair 1000W 80+ Gold power supply, and MSI RTX 2080 Super Gaming X Trio graphics card. After a month of successful operation, my monitor began displaying “no signal” on both HDMI and DisplayPort connections inexplicably. I attempted numerous troubleshooting steps, but the problem persisted. A technician was unable to diagnose or resolve it, leading me to send my motherboard and graphics card for warranty service. I subsequently purchased a replacement Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon motherboard and another MSI RTX 2080 Super Gaming X Trio. Upon returning home and reinstalling everything, including Windows and graphics drivers, the same “no signal” issue reappeared immediately after driver installation. I even attempted updating the BIOS, but this did not resolve the problem either. I am seeking assistance and would appreciate any guidance on how to address this frustrating situation, considering that this build cost approximately 4000 euros.
I systematically checked each component individually – every memory module and slot. I also swapped out the RAM entirely, but the issue persisted. I’ve replaced the power supply unit, RAM, motherboard, graphics card, cables, and operating system versions (1903 and 1803), updating the BIOS as well. I've experimented with HDMI and DisplayPort connections, and these components functioned correctly in another computer system. However, the problem remains when using my specific setup with my displays.
Could you have experimented with a different video connection? I believe given the construction, you're utilizing a superior cable; however, occasionally they can be faulty.
Furthermore, I suggest completely removing the existing driver, followed by executing an SFC scan and subsequently reinstalling it. This could address any underlying system file problems.

With a GTX 2080, functionality is achieved through the motherboard’s display port – this operates successfully without driver installation. However, when utilizing a GTX 2080, performance is only observed when graphics drivers are not present. I connect an adapter and use a separate power cable for the card.
