So I was experiencing WHEA errors recently, which have become increasingly common. They started sporadically every 2 to 3 weeks, then more frequently, occurring twice or even thrice daily. This always happens when the PC is just playing a YouTube video without any other activity. A critical hardware failure has occurred. Previously, these errors would happen in pairs. I replaced my GPU, suspecting it was the cause, and it stopped the WHEA errors for about 11 days. After that, the issue reappeared but with only this specific error. When the errors occur in pairs, another one replaces the Bus/Interconnect Error. It doesn’t generate a Minidump even though it’s enabled. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I plan to replace the CPU first, but identifying the problem could still help save time. Thanks in advance.

Hello! The CMOS reset process is similar to loading optimized defaults in the BIOS. I removed two RAM sticks and it stopped the WHEA errors, though the system still freezes occasionally. RAM tests showed no issues. Recently, I ran another set of tests and everything was fine. This issue first appeared around November last year, starting with occasional problems that increased to several times a day by March. Someone from the AMD Forums suggested disabling Global C-States in BIOS, which helped for a few months until it returned more frequently again. During that time, I replaced my GPU with the 9070 XT, which stopped the WHEA errors for about 11 days, though another error appeared only as a Bus/Interconnect issue. Once resolved, I uploaded detailed specs and raw data to help diagnose the problem further.
Many others have reported similar issues, suggesting the power supply unit (PSU) could also be the cause. I’m unsure how to test the PSU, but I don’t have the necessary tools right now. I’m open to suggestions on next steps. If it’s the PSU, it might affect me too.

Update: PC experienced another crash due to the WHEA Bus/Interconnect Error during a stress test in Prime95. No Minidumps were recorded. This occurred while running the torture test. Is the issue related to the CPU? The temperatures were approximately 71 degrees on HWInfo at the time.
