Now that the 2024 version is available, I'm considering it. It would fit well with my current cables. However, it's a bit expensive at $170.

This power surge issue isn't necessarily a problem with the 850 W setup. The RM850X is a solid PSU, and the system should handle it properly. Other factors might be responsible for the random reboots.
