After resetting Windows, your "File Explorer" disappeared from the start menu (left side with "settings" and "on/off"). How can I restore it? A suggestion is to pin File Explorer to the start menu, but it seems to stay on the right side (circle) instead of the left (arrow) next to options and toggle. Updated August 12, 2017 by Surpuppa

Power down your computer, then turn it back on. It should refresh Explorer and function correctly.

It only initiates the process without performing any further actions.

Adjusts the file explorer position to the leftmost column, next to settings and the power button.

In another discussion you mentioned using a YouTube video. I didn’t watch it to understand the details, but it seems you’re dealing with issues already that require attention. Please refrain from relying on information from those who lack clarity.

It was an issue that existed before I began all those changes. You really don’t understand my original goals or current intentions. This particular challenge wasn’t something I caused—I just observed it early on when I first used Windows. The people in the video are experienced, Tek Syndicate. They may not be top-tier, but they have real value. Maybe I misinterpreted their steps, but what I did didn’t make a difference.

Det var det som du vill avslutas: File Explorer (fingerläggande cirkelsymbol) kommer att uppdatera till rätt plats, när du används ett resets på Windows. Det var inte i vår system att det är för dig.
