I recently swapped my PS4 Pro for a PC.
I suspect I was tricked. I exchanged it for a PC with what appeared to be a Radeon, though I’m not sure if it’s actually a 580. The CPU was an i7 860, but I didn’t know for sure. When I tried Roblox, the game barely ran at all—only around 10 frames per second. I attempted some fixes, but now the device won’t connect to the TV. Here are some photos of the computer.
You encountered a shady power supply situation along with single-channel memory issues. Before proceeding, consider seeking guidance from local authorities. It seems someone exploited your purchase of an RX 580 and high-end graphics card—this is clearly fraudulent activity. Fraud is illegal, so if you have any details to help track down the perpetrator, report them to the police. Your actions were risky; please be cautious about trusting strangers moving forward.
Always keep the PowerSupply closed when working with it; opening it can be dangerous and may cause serious harm. It's unfortunate that your friend fell victim to a scam.
