This was my baseline before the upgrade UserBenchmarks: Game 55%, Desk 87%, Work 55% CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X - 84.1% GPU: AMD RX 580 - 57.1% SSD: Samsung 860 EVO M.2 500GB - 110.4% HDD: Seagate ST2000DM005-2CW102 2TB - 42.3% RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 C16 2x8GB - 97.3% MBD: Gigabyte X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING And now After UserBenchmarks: Game 50%, Desk 83%, Work 51% CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X - 79.4% GPU: AMD RX 580 - 57.1% SSD: Samsung 860 EVO M.2 500GB - 106.4% HDD: Seagate ST2000DM005-2CW102 2TB - 47.4% RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000 C16 3x8GB - 69.3% MBD: Gigabyte X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING I have added the RAM in Slot 3, it matches the same model I previously installed

Yes, XMP/DOCP was re-enabled and applied correctly. The version numbers on the DIMMs match, but identical model numbers don’t guarantee identical parts.

The code aligns as well. CMK8GX4M1D3000C16 However, examining the universal product code beneath the barcode shows my previous models were produced in 2018 whereas these are from 2022.

The version number isn't the same for Corsair DIMMs; each has its own. The specific number varies depending on the model. In BIOS, look for "XMP Profile" or "DOCP Profile" settings to adjust performance settings.

OK, that might cause issues. The first kit is Hynix AFR and the second is Samsung B die, and there's a pretty decent chance that they just don't like each other at all. Still, try enabling XMP/DOCP (I think Gigabyte Boards are DOCP), it might work, it might not.
