Maybe you don't have enough storage? Sorry, couldn't help myself... Seriously, though. EVGA has been known to have some issues with their PSUs. You might try disconnecting the ATX connector and with the latch clip side facing you, jump green to neighboring black (pins 4 and 5) ON THE LATCH CLIP SIDE, with a paper clip. If everything else turns on, you have some sort of issue with your motherboard header connector placement. If not, your PSU may be DOA. Edited June 20, 2022 by An0maly_76 Revised, more info

I connected the power supply to my main rig and it started working. I swapped out the CMOS battery, but everything stayed the same. The debug lights aren’t lighting up. Should I consider getting a new motherboard?

The wiring for PWR, RST, and LED headers might not be correctly placed. I've noticed boards where the chassis intrusion switch connects to this area could potentially cut power if the PWR/RST connectors are improperly connected. Additionally, the motherboard or CPU itself might be faulty.

You can check by testing each component separately. If you replace the CPU and see changes in performance, it’s likely the CPU is the issue. If replacing the motherboard doesn’t help, the problem probably lies with the motherboard itself.

Only way to truly understand is by testing the suspect CPU on a verified board or vice versa. You referred to setting up a new server—do you have an older one? Are the CPU and board compatible between systems? Another machine? Any spare components available? I’d make sure to double and triple-check the header wiring first.
