Hello, I need to share my specifications so we can fix this issue more easily. I have an i5 8400 processor, an MSI B360M GAMING PLUS MOBO (I believe that’s all that matters), and I installed 16GB of HyperX Predator Black memory at 3000MHz CL15. The total is 16GB, but my PC only supports 2400MHz. My uncle suggested letting it run at that speed, but I want it to operate at its full potential without affecting performance or breaking the warranty. Can you help me find a way to increase it to 2666MHz safely? Thanks.

XMP stands for Extreme Memory Profile. DDR4 chips typically run at 2133Mhz or 2400Mhz, and XMP refers to the technology that boosts their performance.

Ignore the details, if it doesn’t boot at 3000Mhz just clear the CMOS. I’m pretty sure they should work at that frequency on that board.

In the second image you shared, everything is covered. Just enable the XMP profile or set profile 1 with DRAM Frequency in manual mode. Then adjust the Adjusted DRAM Frequency to 3000mhz, which is 30.00.
