I'm just starting out with PC building and this forum, so please forgive any rule breaks. I've spent a couple of weeks watching YouTube tutorials to learn how to assemble a PC. I tried testing my components like the CPU and RAM. Since I don't have a graphics card, I'm worried about making a mistake. I wasn't sure what the flash BIOS button did—I thought it might power on the motherboard or the power button. After checking, I figured it was the power button. Once I confirmed it worked, I decided to build my PC without a GPU and noticed the CPU flashing white for the BIOS. It seems normal. Everything seemed to function properly. Are you worried about anything? Thanks for your understanding.

I see you highlighted something important about your MSI B550 Pro. It looks like you're wondering why that part feels loose and whether you should adjust your grip.

It is normal for a vga light to be on without a gpu. Unless you pressed the flash bios button with a USB in your fine. The thing circled in blue is the chipset heatsink, I doubt you broke it in any meaningful way.

I believe you're in solid condition. The flash BIOS button won't function unless you have a BIOS to update, which might just reset the CMOS—this isn't too serious. If you pulled the heatsink off your chipset by accident, you're actually lucky. Just reattach it carefully and everything should be fine.

Great news! Thanks for the positive feedback. It's reassuring knowing your PC is still in good shape after disassembly.

Thanks for the update. It seems pressing the flash BIOS caused some unexpected reactions. I’m hoping I can wait for a temporary GPU and try to understand the issue better.
