Huge shout out to XTPC for providing my their 2TB 2230 for testing purposes. I took the time to max out my SteamDeck with a full 3TBs of storage so I'm more or less looking at the following partitions: 1.30TB SteamOS 512GB Windows 1TB Batocera SD card Batocera has been awesome the ability to have all my back ups on SD card to fullfil my nvme drive has been awesome with an additional 1tb storage. I'm using a weaker SP A1 SD card I purchased for around $65 USD, they often have sales. This was a month to month project, so don't feel like you need this much storage right away, I put some money away month by month over not really wanting to broke, haha. Although I'd prefer an A2 card A1 performance has just been fine. I'm not the type that's in a hurry when it comes to file transfers and performance has been A okay. XTPC Systems 2TB P560 M.2 2230 NVMe PCIe SSD Gen 4.0x4 Single-Sided Drive, 5100MB/s Read, 3200 MB/s Write (Upgrade for Steam Deck, Surface Pro 7, Surface Laptop 4) https://a.co/d/0BPgedt Silicon Power 1TB Superior Micro SDXC UHS-I (U3), V30 4K A2, Compatible with Nintendo-Switch, Steam Deck, High Speed MicroSD Card with Adapter https://a.co/d/hE17Qai So for just about $275 USD tax not included you can have an awesome storage device with multiple OS softwares. Had fun doing this. @staff I was unsure which category this would be suited for since it's PC gaming but in a handheld factor I figured this was the best place.

You can purchase 1TB microSD cards for just $60 right now? That’s impressive! I’m probably going to spend some cash upgrading my DAPs. How long do these usually last?
