I set up Manjaro on one of your disks, but now your Windows setup on another drive isn’t appearing in the BIOS boot menu. You can access Linux smoothly, but Windows files show up but won’t start. What steps should you take next?

I'm referring to a situation where the system fails to start and displays the Windows logo instead of launching normally.

The system prompts to restart and install a boot media. During boot priority settings, only the installation drive appears, not the Windows Boot Manager, yet inserting the boot media works.

It appears you're seeing a blank screen prompting you to restart and choose a boot source.

The information comes from the documentation, not the operating system. Linux and Windows often clash, especially with bootloaders. You might need to reinstall Windows.

You can try adjusting settings or using compatibility layers to allow both systems to work together while keeping Linux active.

No urgent requirement to reinstall. Using GRUB as a bootloader might mean it needs to recheck Windows detection. Start with a Linux boot and run "sudo update-grub" for a quick fix. The bootloader was likely on the installation drive, not the Windows drive—so I usually suggest disconnecting other drives during Windows setup.

I used to have a functional Windows installation, then switched to Linux. Now I'm attempting the grub method again.

I attempted that but it fails. I haven't encountered the GRUB interface before; it simply launches into Linux without any menu.
