Recently I received a second set of identical RAM. I powered down my PC while installing it with significant force. A pop sound occurred, but it wasn’t the typical RAM installation noise—it seemed to come from another part inside the computer. After running for about 10 hours, I was able to install some software. Everything seems fine now. What might have happened?
