Hi everyone, this is Tony. I’m not connected with any companies or brands, just doing this for personal testing to discover the top Wi-Fi card. I hope it helps others. You can view the speed test results here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1...edit#gid=0. My configuration includes: - 3600X, B450-A Pro Max, Windows Education Edition - Internet 300 (Fibre, symmetrical - down = up = 300Mbps) - Positioned 8 feet from the router/modem TP Link T4E AC1200 (PCIE E5 slot) Pricing: - TP Link T3U AC1300 (USB 3.0): $24.99 - Toscomax AC1200 (USB 3.0): $19.99 (on sale for $2 off) - Ping Jitter Down Up: $39.99 Shipping options: - Two-day via Amazon: $39.99 - One-day via Amazon: $24.99 - TP Link T3U AC1300: $19.99 Performance stats: Ping Jitter Down Up: 1 15 ms Ping Jitter Up: 1 332 ms Consistent speed: 281 Mbps Things I dislike: - Down speed doesn’t match other cards - Cost is higher, especially with the extra $15–$20 - Difficult to install, needs driver updates - Support is lacking, hard to find help online - Some ports don’t recognize the network What I like: - Simple setup for tech-savvy users - Good speed and performance - Affordable price compared to alternatives - Comes with warranty and support - Compact design I chose the TP Link T3U because it offers top performance for just $5 more than a generic model, includes warranty and support, and fits easily. I’d prefer a PCI card if it works well, but it’s not worth the extra $15. Also, check out this water bottle from Use "WIFICARD" for 20% off – limited stock available.

The distinction lies in the software that governs the hardware functionality.
