I understand the limitations of Zen 5 revisions. I wasn't here to demonstrate my sharp insight, but I appreciate the chance to share this. I enjoy creating and am eager to test this new device. I placed the order right away and received the 7950X on launch day as well. A few software updates were required for the chip before my OS could fully leverage its capabilities, and I expect similar treatment with the 9950X. It's the cost of early access. I'm moving from the 7950X. My previous CPU is set to go into one of this year’s Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital Extralite 2024 builds. #writeoff Current Configuration: CPU: 7950X Motherboard: ASUS TUF X670E Gaming WiFi Plus RAM: 48GB DDR5-7200 with optimized timings for a perfect 1:1 on the CFLK Storage: 2TB PCIe5 SSD + 2TB PCIe4 SSD Networking: 10Gbit Intel X710DA2 NIC GPU: MSI Suprim GeForce RTX 4090 Display: (not shown) Dell U4025QW Audio: SMSL SU-1 DAC with Schiit Magni Headphone Amp

Had I taken off my kingpin fanboy hat for a moment I would have realized that. Credit to youtuber DaPoets (2) DaPoets - YouTube for not only pointing that out but, even being nice about it on the Facebook PCMR group. I've ordered some Noctua NT-H2 that will be here in a couple of days. Holding off on posting comparison benchmarks until after that arrives. This has been a good reminder that nobody knows everything. Here's to good community experiences.
