The performance remains solid even with decent textures; however, poor frame rates can ruin the experience. I saw quality mainly through texture detail, but technically it's also linked to resolution.

FPS comes first... up to 60. If it runs smoothly at 60, I'm happy with the settings and will keep pushing them until they dip into the 50s. The resolution is fixed—1600x900 is my native display. With a 1080p screen, I expect 1080 to become my new benchmark.
