Do you own an Xbox or PS controller? Then setting the frame rate to 30fps and prioritizing top quality would be ideal. If not, I can tweak the settings to maintain high visual fidelity while keeping performance around 60fps.

Yes, I cap it too. I just made it uncapped to show. I’m okay with 30 FPS on this low-end device. At least they stay consistent like that.

I only suggested it for fully stable 30fps to replicate a console experience with a controller. For keyboard and mouse, aim for at least 60fps, which means balancing performance between low and high settings.

I don't have a console. This device is from an older system. Nowadays I use it mainly for browsing, MS Office and home entertainment. For smooth 60FPS performance, I might need more powerful hardware. The scene being rendered is indoors, which is why the frames are higher than usual. In combat scenes they slow down to 50-60 frames per second on their own.

I was discussing replicating the feel of a console. Are you comfortable with that setting? If yes, it might be a good idea to keep it that way.

I believe 800x600 is quite high, but I often reduce game resolution for smoother performance. It feels so uneven when the frame rate drops to 40-50 compared to a steady 60 at a higher setting. That’s what I did with Fallout 4 on my GTX760—lowering the resolution to 1680-1050 instead of 1900-1200 allowed me to maintain a stable 60fps. I don’t usually push beyond 60 frames now that I have a better monitor.
