Comparing the two options: the Oculus Rift with 1050 Ti and i3-6100 vs. the Oculus Quest is straightforward. The Quest offers a more affordable, portable experience without the need for a powerful PC, while the Rift provides higher resolution and better performance for gaming. If you value immersion and visual fidelity, the Rift is worth the investment; if you prefer convenience and ease of use, the Quest is ideal.

It will develop slowly, causing frustration for those who purchased it without proper backing and irritation for those who must repeatedly hear complaints from them. What is the Oculus Quest really for? I only imagine it’s a headset paired with a smartphone. It appears to rely on cameras for tracking, which makes me think it can’t do much beyond basic mobile VR experiences. It seems like a disappointing launch. At least using the phone headset lets you connect to your existing $400 device (like an Apple phone) instead of paying another $400 for a separate one.
