Do you tend to play games more or less than before? Or perhaps you stopped altogether? I used to enjoy them a lot, especially this past year with a lot of CS. But after deciding I needed to quit CS and find games I wouldn’t want to spend so much time on, it feels easier to stop playing a game completely or simply play less overall. I’m actually feeling pretty satisfied now. A few months ago, I thought I’d never fully stop gaming, but lately I’m starting to question that statement.

I started playing PC games about four years ago, and my gaming hours have grown a lot. It’s mainly because I can easily switch between work and game tabs. My parents don’t know what I’m doing, my PS3 is upstairs, and I can’t just jump around every few minutes.

I've mostly played real-life games since around 2010, and I haven't had a normal life since then. It seems like things aren't going to change anytime soon, either way. Likely not better.

I once played a lot, but now I’m too busy. @ QuadCore, share your journey of finding real life.

I’ve cut down on spending all day on video games and now I only play them occasionally.

I used to spend many hours daily until around four years ago, mainly playing BF2. Now I only play occasionally, about once a week.

Recently things haven’t changed much. I used to enjoy playing a lot because I wasn’t fond of social situations, but over the past couple of years I’ve felt more isolated and battled with depression, which has reduced my drive. It could also be that 2014 was likely our toughest year for new releases since then.

It's simply how time goes by. As you get older, life tends to become more hectic. I'd really like to enjoy playing games more often, but I just don't have enough time.

I've been playing more games lately after facing challenges with my previous experiences. Even though I don't have many memories of gaming, I'm regaining enjoyment again. Recently, I bought NHL 15 to play with my son, which isn't always fun since he's far beyond my skill level. I've also enjoyed online play for EASHL and the Game of the Week feature. I kept playing BIT.TRIP.Runner, almost finished it on Easy Mode, and after a long break, I actually completed a game. Gaming is becoming more enjoyable, but I miss having family around and real friends to play with. I also wish I had a CouchMaster or something similar for comfortable PC gaming from home.

I've been enjoying video games since 1998, with some periods having more playtime than others. About 3 to 4 years ago, I was gaming nonstop. Today I usually spend a fair amount of time playing, though not as much as before.
