Hello everyone, yesterday I received new PC parts and installed RAM on the wrong side. I even pushed it in and it clicked fine. Usually I never do this, but since it's DDR4, my friend said it doesn't matter which side you place it on, so I put it incorrectly. After correcting, I can now boot into BIOS only. However, I still see the RAM functioning because it shows 16GB inserted, but I’m still stuck in BIOS. I’m not sure if this is how I got them. When I removed them from the slot, I noticed the RAM chips were getting wider near the middle and narrower at the ends. Is this normal, or does it suggest I damaged them?
