I used Windows 8.1 64 bit on a slower hard drive and the Windows 10 update caused issues. Once I realized I couldn't save my data, I switched to a Samsung 850 Evo SSD and installed Windows 10 using a product key from Kinguin. The first setup went well until I accidentally reinstalled a 32-bit version of Windows 10 each time. I tried formatting the SSD after the third attempt but still faced the same problem. All my hardware should work now. Here are my specs for reference: http://i.imgur.com/yPDIxAQ.jpg

That happened when you mistakenly selected the wrong installation option or used an outdated setup file.

I don't understand. It's unclear what else you might want to express unless someone provides a particular point.

The media creation tools are divided into 32-bit and 64-bit versions, except for a single universal option that includes both.

There might be an issue with the media creation tool. It could be a problem with the software itself. Contacting Microsoft is an alternative, though they may just reinforce typical advice about purchasing keys directly from them.

The media creation tool installs the OS matching your current system. Download it again from MS and choose the 64-bit version this time.

They’ve been difficult to work with before, which is why I haven’t tried them.

I selected the 64-bit version by using my friend's 64-bit machine each time.

I prepared the boot image for him. I plan to attempt the creation tool once more, confident I selected the 64-bit version since that was what I needed to fix initially. If you opt for 64-bit first, just switch the language settings—it resets the other options so I’m certain I chose correctly. I’ll try again.
