I often end up setting up the 32-bit edition of Windows 10 by mistake.
I used Windows 8.1 64 bit on a slower hard drive and the Windows 10 update caused issues. Once I realized I couldn't save my data, I switched to a Samsung 850 Evo SSD and installed Windows 10 using a product key from Kinguin. The first setup went well until I accidentally reinstalled a 32-bit version of Windows 10 each time. I tried formatting the SSD after the third attempt but still faced the same problem. All my hardware should work now. Here are my specs for reference: http://i.imgur.com/yPDIxAQ.jpg
That happened when you mistakenly selected the wrong installation option or used an outdated setup file.
There might be an issue with the media creation tool. It could be a problem with the software itself. Contacting Microsoft is an alternative, though they may just reinforce typical advice about purchasing keys directly from them.
I prepared the boot image for him. I plan to attempt the creation tool once more, confident I selected the 64-bit version since that was what I needed to fix initially. If you opt for 64-bit first, just switch the language settings—it resets the other options so I’m certain I chose correctly. I’ll try again.
