This is kind of a question and statement at he same time,i have a g3258 intel chip that i overclocked to 4.5 ghz,my ram was 8 gigs(2 sticks corsair 4 gigs each 1333 mhz) i would constantly BSOD...i thought initally it was just the over clock,i tested the memory on mem diagnostic and said it was fine. But i took the ram out, and threw in 1- 8 gig stick of kingston hyper fury 1600 mhz,and ran prime 95 version 26.6 on it for 6 hours and no problems,it hasnt BSOD'D at all....im guessing the ram since was tested and said it was good, the speed of the ram was the problem for the overclock? or the ram was bad and the check up on it was wrong? im more leaning to think that 1333 mhz ram caused the BSOD problem cause i was overclocking? am i right to believe this? Just curious,i like to learn...thanks in advance

You're wondering if the OC was the reason for the RAM failure, but you didn't specify the exact settings. It seems possible since using higher speed RAM succeeded, though without details it's hard to determine.
