Hello, I recently assembled my new PC using fresh components except for the graphics card. Every time I power it on, everything seems to function—fans spin, GPU hums, and the light comes on—but no display appears. The motherboard’s debug LED shows white light for VGA. I’ve checked connections and re-seated the GPU, but the problem continues. I’ve had to repeatedly insert a screwdriver into the JBAT1 header on the motherboard to reset CMOS and BIOS settings each time. After doing that, when I press power, the machine briefly powers up, then shuts off and restarts normally. This isn’t typical for a brand-new setup. Could there be an issue with the GPU itself? It worked fine in my previous system. What might be causing this behavior?
I confirmed the cables are correctly positioned, but did you verify that the power button connections match the appropriate headers?
