In simple words, I purchased a pair of Sennheiser PC37X headphones from drop.com about a year or two ago. Recently, for the first time, the audio stopped working properly. I would put them on and play a game, but every 1-2 minutes the sound would only come through one side of the headphones. The issue has become more frequent. I’ve taken good care of the headphones and the wire, which made me wonder why this was happening. I think the problem is with the wire—any twisting or bending could cause it to fail. I’ve tried a temporary fix by pulling the wire up and wrapping it around the headphones, but it’s only a short-term solution. I need a new wire and don’t know what to look for. Standard aux cables seem too long, and comparing the connectors in my headphones versus those in my PC shows they’re different. The ones in my PC have much longer connectors, so I can’t just buy a regular aux cord. Could someone help me find a suitable replacement on Amazon or explain what to look for? Thanks in advance—I really appreciate your assistance.

Thank you for your message. I truly value it. The key was finding the name of the wire you needed. For those seeking a comparable wire for these headphones, it's commonly referred to as a UNP PC cable.

For what it's worth, if you're still within the warranty period, I would have reached out to both Drop and Sennheiser regarding the problem with your cable and inquired about sending a replacement. If that option was no longer available, then it would be necessary to create a custom cable or purchase one from a third-party vendor.
