I believe it's time to explore new options, so I'm willing to try different genres. Hello everyone. Throughout my life I've mainly played racing games—covering everything from "The Need for Speed" and "Heat" (including Shift) to Gran Turismo, Forza, The Crew, Colin McRae/Dirt, Grid, FlatOut, Project Cars, Assetto Corsa, Wreckfest, Driver, Destruction Derby, Midnight Club, CarX Drift, and more. I've lost all ideas. Can anyone assist in finding a good racing title? I've grown tired of these titles already and only have a gaming PC at home. Any suggestions?

Grand theft auto includes guns. Not sure if that appeals to you. You might have enjoyed Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon. Wipeout could be exclusive for PlayStation, but emulation exists. It seems PlayStation now offers streaming services for its games.

It looks like you've mostly enjoyed racing titles with vehicles, not pure racing experiences. You might want to check out Asphalt 9—it’s available on Nintendo Switch and Mobile. It offers a unique vibe, focusing more on drag race and fast-casual action rather than traditional track racing. The game uses fuel gauges for each car, meaning you can drive a vehicle several times before needing to refuel. I find it fun, but it doesn’t feel like the perfect way to satisfy a racing craving.

The top racing game was the beta version, which never came out. The final release didn’t relate to that beta at all. Honestly, I don’t know—I think racing games are fading away. It’s always repetitive, stuck in loops with poor AI... I liked FORZA but didn’t enjoy the second or third versions. Project Gotham City is probably one of the best, though, so if you manage to find it...

You're seeking a more intense experience—maybe something challenging, a simulation, or an arcade feel. Are you after deeper competition or a different kind of racing action?

There are several options for serious sim racers like Project Cars, Grid, and R-Factor. For those who prefer the classic experience, there are also titles such as Project Cars (versions 1-3) and Grid. I liked Onrush, with games like TrackMania, Burnout Paradise, and titles featuring weapons and progression systems—though these focus more on vehicle combat than actual racing. Wreckfest, Crossout, and similar games offer a Motorstorm-inspired feel with upgrade trees, though they lean toward action-packed gameplay rather than realistic driving. Ultimately, it comes down to your preferences: wheeled vehicles, online play, realism, or casual fun.

There's a version for Windows PC on the Windows Store as well, I think I'm gonna give it a try Interesting, I'll look it up. Thank you! To be honest? Arcade. Sim is great, but I only have a Xbox controller and it doesn't make too much sense playing Sim games on it. Project Cars, Assetto Corsa and Dirt Rally are really tricky games when it comesto handling/control of the car. Thanks for the suggestions, I'm gonna look 'em up. Btw, I'm trying to find something more Arcade like, since I have no Wheel, but a Xbox Controller only.

I agree with the Trackmania series. Nations Forever offers a huge selection of user-made tracks and online multiplayer options. PS. Combined some of your comments. Use the multiquote option when replying to several people. It's the first icon featuring two arrows and a plus sign.

I considered this idea but missed the title. Fresh titles... Titanfall 2 offers a quick pace. Halo includes numerous vehicle levels. The Master Chief collection even provides a playlist for each driving level, skipping others.
