I agree with their comments, but given the focus on upgrades for lower-end processors, it makes sense to hold off on purchasing new gear until that update is released.

It's clear that improvements will likely appear during the early access phase of PUBG, yet that doesn't diminish the need for players to keep an eye out. The Q6600 remains outdated and underperforms even against the FX 6300 in both single and multi-threaded scenarios, especially considering the poor IPC of the FX series. Fact is, his CPU is a significant limitation, potentially preventing the GTX 1050Ti from running smoothly and making it improbable that Blue Hole will prioritize a CPU from 2007 for this title. Even with the patch, boosting FX-6300 performance seems unlikely to greatly enhance gameplay. "Optimization" offers only limited help. Not long ago, BlueHole released updates to improve multithreaded performance, targeting lower-end processors. Overall, if instant fixes are essential, budget-friendly Ryzen 3 systems are a viable alternative—just a Ryzen 3 1200 with a B350 motherboard and 16GB DDR4 at 2800MHz costs around $300.
