Could you tell me what you attempted with commandline.txt?
There’s quite a bit of information within it that could be useful.

Certainly, the primary setting to prioritize is “safemode” to eliminate any graphical options that could cause issues, and a framerate limit of 30 should also be implemented – this is beneficial due to your CPU’s strength and preventing excessive game speed from generating problems, purely for experimentation. Utilizing “windowed” mode can be advantageous as it facilitates the concurrent operation of various monitoring applications while maintaining the game in the primary view. Furthermore, Windows 10 enables you to designate specific GPUs for individual programs; therefore, ensure that Grand Theft Auto is configured to utilize the GTX 1050.

Could someone please assess my laptop’s settings and identify the closest possible configuration? I'm a new owner with a 4GB GTX1050 and a notebook, and I understand the risks involved in modifying CPU/GPU parameters – I simply request assistance in understanding this. I utilize Throttlestop, XTU, HWiNFO64, OpenRSMonitor, and MSI AB software.

My system includes a four-fan cooling pad and integrated Nitro Sense fan control. Specifications are: ACER Nitro 5 AN515-53 with 8GB of 2666MHz DDR4 RAM at 5400 RPM, a SATA 6Gb/s HDD, and an i5-8300H processor (turbo is disabled). During the Furmark GPU benchmark, I’m encountering LIM1 or LIM2 errors, suggesting I may have occasionally surpassed my TDP. I require guidance on acceptable value ranges for undervolting both my CPU and GPU – ideally, if possible – focusing on values suitable for a non-Ti 1050. Thank you in advance.

Has anyone discovered a way to play Grand Theft Auto IV on Windows 10 successfully? It’s functioning without problems initially, but it freezes at the 15-second countdown to reset when I change the graphics settings.
