Cpu: Amd Ryzen 5 5600
Gpu: INNO3D 4060ti Twin x2
Ssd: Kc3000 1Tb
Motherboard: Gigabyte B550Gaming X v2 rev1.3
Ram: Gskill 2x8 3200Mhz
Windows 11
I built my system roughly six months ago, and at first everything worked fine. But after some time, while playing games, the audio on my computer began to stutter. Later, I faced freezing episodes during gameplay. Once, pressing Alt-Tab caused the whole system to freeze, and the sound from my headphones started repeating, with the problem continuing until I powered off the machine. I also experienced blue screens of death (BSOD) multiple times, and sometimes the computer would crash directly with a blue screen during startup. At first, I assumed it was a software problem, so I reformatted the system several times. Still, nothing resolved the issue. Eventually, I noticed that when more audio sources were active—like music, Discord, or in-game sounds—the freezes and audio problems became more frequent. Afterwards, I tried playing 'Brotato' with three different tracks at once, and I observed a rise in freeze occurrences.

Note: Temperature checks on CPU and GPU have been done. SSD tests were also performed. A health test was conducted on the Kingston SSD, and no issues were found.
Audio driver was uninstalled using ddu, then reinstalled from the motherboard website.
What might be causing my problem?
How can I resolve it?

the audio is coming from the motherboard, not the GPU.

HDMI & DP carry audio signals as well as video.
if your display has an audio out jack you can use this as your primary audio source.
or if you happen to have a receiver/speaker set that runs through HDMI.
you'd just have to select this output through Control Panel > Sound.
include your PSU make & model plus it's overall time in use.
and are you using the motherboard's latest BIOS?
also, include a screenshot of Device Manager & 'Sound'(that i mentioned before).

I believe I fixed it, and everything seems to be working properly on Windows 10.

what are the issues with system freezing, BSOD, and game crashes? if this persists, it indicates a more critical issue than a corrupt OS or incompatible drivers.
