I need assistance with the headphone earpads.
I have atopic dermatitis / eczema on my hands. It seems to have spread to my ears. Both leather and memory foam ear pads cause itching and allergic reactions after prolonged use of headphones (over 1 hour). I'm struggling to find fabric ear pads for the Hyper X Cloud 2 to test another material. Can anyone who has this issue advise me? Should I stop wearing headphones altogether? Thanks!
I found a product with fabric:

Is it good?
Do you have someone close like a mother, wife, or partner who could adjust your headphone cups? They could swap out or cover the part that touches your skin with something safe and hypoallergenic.
I understand how challenging psoriasis can be—even small irritations hurt. I’ve noticed that improved airflow and breathable materials help reduce flare-ups.
I came across this link:
Best Hypoallergenic Headphones: Ideal for Allergy Sufferers

The brand names suggest these options won’t be inexpensive, but they could be a good starting point for your search.
Good luck.
I noticed that using a wicking material made a difference for me. Since I don’t have an allergy that causes such reactions, I can’t confirm it. You might want to try it and observe the results. I only referred to hypoallergenic when you mentioned allergic reactions in your original message.
I noticed the part of the ear pad that contacts the ear appears to be leather. The same leather used on the standard ear pads that caused the rash is also present here.
